John Krasinski was hit with a ‘cream bagel’ for wearing a Boston Red Sox jersey

John Krasinski, who rose to fame after playing Jim Halpert in “The Office,” is originally from Boston. As you might expect, John loves his home team, the Boston Red Sox. On the “Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” John revealed the strange encounter he had on his first time in New York City.

John was on probation at 30 Rockefeller and was going to have his usual lunch. However, he made the mistake of wearing the Boston Red Sox jersey on rival ground; and what followed is best understood in John’s words.

“I was wearing a Nomar Garciaparra jersey. I was walking about to go to lunch and something hit me on the back of the head. It was a full cream cheese bagel. And I looked to see who it was. It was a taxi going at around 20 miles an hour ”, Jeans revealed on the show.

Unlike any other furious Red Sox fan, John was a sport on the spot.

John praised the precision of the taxi driver

While anyone else in the world would be crazy to be hit by a bagel in the middle of the day, John had a surprising conclusion to the meeting. Jean said, “I couldn’t be angry. The trajectory to strike… he had to be drafted after that. It was really good.”

John also admitted that he always made the mistake of wearing a Boston Red Sox jersey in New York because he is a fan. Do you think it was fair of the cab driver to toss a random bagel at a fan from another team?
